Having worked as an associate in the litigation and commercial law department of a medium-sized Maltese law firm for four years, she moved on to set up her own practice. Gillian’s practice is predominantly contentious but she is also experienced in handling non-contentious matters. Gillian is experienced in civil and commercial matters, insurance and liability law, including liability based on tort, contract or quasi-contract, personal injury claims and is a specialist in arbitration. She is also frequently appointed as arbiter in all kinds of insurance law disputes.
Due to her extensive experience in handling family law related claims and in drafting separation contracts, she also frequently advises in connection with family law issues, including adoptions and divorce.
